SUMMARY:The Quran and the Prophet ﷺ | Shaykh Yahya Rhodus
DESCRIPTION:There is no better way to learn about the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم than to study what the Lord of the heavens and earth has mentioned about him in His Book. \n\n\n\nJoin us on Saturday for a full-day workshop with Sh. Yahya Rhodus explores the topic of the Qur’an and the Prophet (saw)\, highlighting the centrality of connecting to him. \n\n\n\nSaturday\, Nov. 4 | 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Conference Room | $25/person in person or $15/livestream | Register at mcceastbay.org/centralitySheikh Yahya Rhodus will also give the 1:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Khutbah on Friday\, November 3. \n\n\n\n– More Sheikh Yahya: https://mcceastbay.org/yahya \n\n\n\nQuestions? events@mcceastbay.org \n\n\n\nIt is commonly said the name of the Prophet Musa (as) is mentioned more than the name of the Prophet Muhammad—which is true—but what is often overlooked is that Allah speaks directly to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم in the second person throughout the Quran. We will explore some of these verses and those that indicate the great stature and unique characteristics given to our Prophet by Allah Ta‘ala. Finally\, we will briefly examine some aspects of how the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم was a walking Quran. \n\n\n\nMCC has a standing policy that financial need should never hold a person back from attaining knowledge offered within the four walls of MCC the facility.
