These classes are delivered by a seasoned mixed martial arts professional and aim to equip you with the skills to fend off unwanted physical contact effectively. Max 32 attendees. A professional athlete will show you how to fend off unwanted physical contact\, like a Hijab pull. Please note that the class will start on time. If you are more than 30 minutes late\, you will not be able to join the class. Born and raised in the East Bay\, she trains with M.J. Hamid\, an MCC congregation member and trainer. After her fight with Larissa Pacheco\, she went through a tough time and Br. Hamid introduced her to Islam. She took her Shahadah at MCC on July 21\, 2023. Since then\, she’s been attending Jumu’ah (Friday prayer services) regularly.
