DESCRIPTION:Does your recitation in prayer meet the minimum essential standards? Before this Ramadan\, find out from a seasoned Qur’an teacher in a personalized session. Two sisters maximum per one-hour\, one-on-one tutoring session. \n  \nEach session consists of a short synopsis of the Hanafi fiqh of prayer pertaining to recitation\, and then correction of each woman’s recitation of the essential components of prayer. This crash course is for sisters who can read Arabic but are in every level in knowledge of Tajwid. \n  \nUstadha Nethal will cover the Islamic rulings in the Hanafi school on the essential recitations of salah (prayer). She will instruct on how to read components correctly with individual assessment and instruction for correct pronunciation. \n  \nUstadha Nethal Abdul-Mu’min has  certification in Tajwid from scholars in Damascus\, Syria\, and over 20 years of hands-on experience teaching Tajwid to students of many levels and backgrounds. She is also a speaker on topics of Islamic jurisprudence\, especially as related to women’s and family health. She is a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula\, Childbirth Educator\, and Student Midwife. She resides in Berkeley with her husband Imam Dawood Yasin\, and four daughters who were all born at home.
