SUMMARY:Sixth-Annual Family Fun Fall Fest
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Sixth-Annual MCC Family Fall Festival. This year\, we will have halal food trucks\, a unique interactive animal show\, goodie bags\, and more! \n\n\n \n\n\nJoin us for fishing activities\, potato sack races\, face painting\, freeze dance\, Knowledge Quest\, a special kid’s halaqa\, and more! This is a family event!\n\n\n \n\n\nWe have added an Ilm Quest to activities this year\, so we need more help! Teen volunteers needed: https://mcceastbay.org/fest-volunteer\n\n\n \n\n\nAt registration\, children will receive a wristband assigned to them at five levels: Level A (ages 0-3)\, Level B (ages 4-8)\, Level C (ages 9-12)\, and Level D (ages 13-17). They will then go on a trivia quest around the prayer hall and answer age-appropriate questions about the Qur’an and Seerah for prizes. Volunteers mark participants’ punch cards for each correct answer. The more correct answers\, the larger the reward. \n \nStudy questions are available here and will also be emailed to registered parents: https://mcceastbay.org/study-questions\n\n\n \n\n\nRSVP is requested so we can have enough goodie bags and activities for all children. This popular annual event is positively capped at 300 children. She has a master’s in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute and is currently pursuing associateships in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. She also has a BA in Liberal Arts & Islamic Studies from Zaytuna College and a BA in Economics from UC Davis.  \nHer hopes after graduating are to further her education in various sacred Islamic sciences and to support the development of sound Muslim communities in the West.  \nZaid Khanani is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee with the City of Fremont\, Youth and Family Services. He graduated from Zaytuna College and completed his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at the Wright Institute. Hafiz Zaid continues his formal Islamic Studies with local teachers and scholars overseas.
