SUMMARY:Ramadan for Teens | Ustadh Quran Hodge
DESCRIPTION:For Teen Girls & Boys Ages 12-18: Join us for a special evening with Ustadh Quran Hodge\, as we welcome the month of Ramadan together. This session will focus on preparing our hearts and minds for Ramadan\, building meaningful habits\, and understanding how our youth can make the most of this blessed month both spiritually and within our community. \nThrough reflection\, reminders\, and open discussion\, teens will gain practical tools to start Ramadan strong\, learn proper masjid adab and etiquette\, and feel more connected to their faith and the masjid. \n6 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Saturday\, January 31 | MCC Prayer Hall | Free; RSVP at mcceastbay.org/ramadan-teens \nSnacks will be provided after the program. Join us! \nAbout Ustadh Quran \nQur’an Hodge is a Bay Area native. He began his Islamic education in 2019\, studying Arabic at the Al Maqasid Seminary in Pennsylvania. Sidi Quran continued to Dar Al Mustafa\, a Yemeni Islamic university in Tarim\, Hadhramaut. At this Islamic seminary founded by Habib Umar bin Hafiz\, Sidi Qur’an studied Ibtidaiyya\, Hadith\, Aqida\, Seerah\, Nahw\, Quran Hifzdh\, Kitaba\, and Tafseer in classical Arabic.  \nSidi Quran has completed certificates in Taleef Collective’s Refining the Core and Zaytuna College’s Permaculture Program. He is passionate about creatively working on community issues\, particularly the challenges Muslim youth face.
