DESCRIPTION:**Due to unforeseen circumstances\, today’s parent-teen community forum is postponed until a later date\, InshaAllah. Please watch prior recordings in our parenting series at https://mcceastbay.org/parenting \n** \nMCC invites teens ages 13 to 19 and parents of teenagers to participate in an open forum intended to bridge the generational gap and help navigate difficult discussions\, answer complex questions\, and bring clarity to both groups about effective ways to communicate and encourage harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships. \n6:15 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. (Asr to Maghrib) | Friday\, May 20 | Free | No registration required | No babysitting provided \nOur panelists included in this post-Ramadan community parenting panel are local community members Sidi Azmat Zeeshan Mukhtar\, Ustadha Hosai Mojaddidi (emcee)\, Sr. Hina Khan-Mukhtar\, Sidi Haroon Sellars\, and Sidi Mahdy Amine.  \nThey each bring 40+ years of experience as both parents and educators who work closely with children and teens of all backgrounds. The parenting panel will be one joint session of teens and parents of teens; no breakout session this time for teens. \nThis is the third part in the community parenting series “My Parents Just Don’t Understand.” Watch the first two parts at https://mcceastbay.org/parent-teen \nParents and teens are invited to ask their questions\, bring up their concerns\, and express their feelings about any topic they wish to before the program.
