SUMMARY:Paint in Harmony: A Sisters’ Meditative Art Workshop | Tasneem Salah
DESCRIPTION:For Girls & Women Ages 15+: Join us for a meditative art workshop session with Tasneem Salah\, a Bay Area-based artist. We will paint\, reflect\, and simply be. In this welcoming space\, there’s no pressure to create “perfect” art—just room to be present and express yourself freely. Let your creativity flow in remembrance and peace. \nPaint in Harmony is a unique creative experience that combines painting\, self-reflection\, and meditation in a serene and spiritually uplifting environment. Set to the calming sounds of morning adhkār and Qur’an recitation\, this session invites you to slow down and reconnect—with yourself\, your faith\, and your creativity. \nThe workshop’s theme will center around Islamic motifs\, and participants will have access to Arabic calligraphy stencils and acrylic paint to help bring their visions to life. No art experience is necessary—just a willingness to explore and express. \nSaturday\, April 26 | 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. | Picnic Area | Sisters Ages 15+ (capped at 11 participants) | $50/person | Register at mcceastbay.org/paint-in-harmony \nAll art supplies will be provided. Since the session will be outdoors\, please bring sunglasses or a hat for comfort. Surrounded by nature\, we hope to encourage mindfulness and inspire you to reflect and create with intention. \nMCC has a standing policy that financial need should never hold a person back from attending any activity held in the community center. To request a financial waiver\, please complete our financial waiver request: HTTP://mcceastbay.org/scholarship \nAbout the Artist \nTasneem Salah\, an accomplished Palestinian American Artist based in the Bay Area\, facilitates Paint in Harmony.
