We will run this free on-site clinic daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Thursday\, January 13\, 2022 to Sunday\, March 31\, 2022. We will consider extending this outreach program thereafter based on how our community infection rates are looking and need in the community. \n\nCan children be tested?\nWe allow children over the age of two years to get tested. Masks were required and children 17 and under needed to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. \nWhat is the cost of the test?\n\n\nThe PCR test is provided to you at no cost. We can perform the test for you if you are insured or uninsured and we do not ask about your legal or residency status. \n\n\n\nHow is your test performed?\n\n\nIt is a self-administered nasal self swab. MCC volunteer and KindlyTest staff will give instructions within the kit along with a brochure. Our staff and volunteers can help you follow the instructions on the kit. \n\nWhat do I need to bring with me?\n\n\nPlease bring your ID and insurance card (only if you are insured). If you are uninsured\, the tests are provided a to you at no cost. If you hold a foreign passport the test is still provided to you at no cost. \n\nCan I share this with my neighbor and my coworker?\nYes! Anyone can come for test to the MCC parking lot every day. Here is the flyer if you’d like to post it in your workplace’s break room. \nWhat happens if it is raining?\nTesting will take place under 20 x 40 canopies in the parking lot. Please bring an umbrella\, in case of rain. Due to 6-foot distancing\, the line for testing may spill out of a canopy. \nWhen will I receive my results?\n\n\nYour PCR test result will be emailed to you within 24 to 48. Due to the high demand for testing currently in this winter surge\, results may take as long as three days. We chose this technology for its accuracy and reliability. RT-PCR tests are accepted as the ‘gold standard’ for schools\, businesses and pre-travel COVID testing. The PCR test are provided to you at no cost. The testing is conducted by our lab partner DiaCarta. Where else can I go?\n\nOur partner mosques in Fremont and Santa Clara (MCA) are also hosting daily free COVID testing. \n\nIs your test FDA approved?\n\n\nOur partner lab is CLIA certified and uses test following the FDA’s guidance.
