DESCRIPTION:For our Friday\, June 25 Jumu’ah services\, Shaykh Talal Ahdab leads the first and second prayer service and Sidi Ibrahim Qureshi speaker leads the third service. \nMasks are required to attend while inside MCC. No RSVP needed: \n\n1:30 p.m. – 1:50 p.m. – INDOOR ONLY \n\nNo outdoor services offered.\nNo social distancing. Prayer will be shoulder-to-shoulder.\nMasks required.\n\n2:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. – OUTDOOR ONLY \n\nOutdoor only. No indoor services offered.\nSocial distancing is optional. Masks are optional.\n\n3:40 p.m. to 4 p.m. – INDOOR ONLY \n\nIndoor only. No outdoor services offered.\nNo social distancing. Prayer will be shoulder-to-shoulder.\nMasks required.\n\n\n\nPlease attend 2:30 or 3:40 p.m. prayer to avoid heavy first-prayer congestion. SUMMARY:Back-to-School Backpack Drive
DESCRIPTION:With our community’s generosity\, Girl Scouts Troops 30875 and 32705 have reached their goal of brightening the Eid al-Fitr holiday for over 700 children of families in the Bay Area who have recently received Zakat or regular food rations from the MCC Pantry. \nPlease continue to support us for our next community service project and spread cheer this upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday by contributing to our school supply drive.  Our troops again plan to empower 175 schoolchildren from Bay Area families which have recently received Zakat from the MCC. Additionally\, if enough donations are received\, we hope to empower 530 more schoolchildren who have recently received Zakat or regular food rations from the MCC Pantry.   \nEach school age child will receive a new backpack with school supplies and younger children will receive a toy! \nThere are four ways to donate to the Fourth-Annual MCC Girl Scouts Troop Backpack Drive: \n\nPurchase backpacks (including supplies) and have them delivered to MCC:  https://mcceastbay.org/backpacks\nDonate via secure link:  https://mcceastbay.org/drive-donations\nDrop off new/unused backpacks and supplies to MCC every Saturday (through June 26th) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m\nDrop off/mail gift cards or checks payable to “Girl Scouts” to:\nMCC (c/o Girl Scouts)\n5724 W.
