DESCRIPTION:In this five-week fall session\, our toddlers and pre-schoolers (ages 1-5) will develop love for Islam\, Allah (swt)\, and RasulAllah (saw) through book reading\, sing-alongs\, Parachute Time\, activities\, and more! \nThursdays\, 8/1\, 8/8\, 8/15\, 8/22\, & 8/29 | 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. | Conference Room | $70 for five sessions or $20 per session | Register at mcceastbay.org/happyhearts \nThese Mommy & Me sessions are designed for girls and boys ages one to four who are accompanied by a female guardian. He commenced his studies at the age of ten in Toronto\, Canada\, where he went to memorize the Quran. Shaykh Abdullah is a co-founder and instructor at Miftaah Institute and the Director of Islamic Affairs at Flint Islamic Center. Shaykh Abdullah travels across North America for khutbas\, workshops\, and seminars. He is known for his motivational and enthusiastic style of speaking\, which leaves the audience desiring to better themselves. \nImam Mikaeel Smith previously served as a resident scholar at the Islamic Society of Annapolis and the Islamic Society of Baltimore. He grew up in a deeply spiritual Christian home in Buffalo\, NY. At 18\, he embraced Islam after reading the Qur’an and Malcolm X’s Autobiography and then completed his Qur’an memorization. He continued his studies in Jami’a Abu Noor in Damascus\, Syria. It is designed to transform muscles and bones while strengthening the core. Regular practice of Pilates not only reshapes the musculoskeletal system but also helps regulate emotions. This class is highly beneficial for individuals over the age of 20 years. Participants will learn how to control muscle movement and maintain poses while regulating their breathing. Regular Pilates practice increases muscle endurance against daily wear and tear and enhances flexibility.
