After residency\, Zeshaan pursued a fellowship in Hand Surgery at UCSF.  \n\n\n\nHis research focuses on biological mechanisms of tissue repair and homeostasis in aging and diabetes. His work has been supported by multiple grants and has resulted in numerous prestigious awards and the publication of more than 100 scientific papers. Zeshaan’s mission is to help turn the science of regenerative medicine into a new field of healthcare focused on prevention rather than the current paradigm of sick care.  \n\n\n\nIn his free time\, Zeshaan enjoys spending time with his family\, including his two young children.   \n\n\n\nZeshaan completed his medical degree at King’s College London\, his Master’s at Imperial College London\, and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons before he joined Stanford.
