DESCRIPTION:Join us for a weekend intensive with Dr. Asad Tarsin to gain clarity on how to live and practice Islam in a clear way by delving into the foundational elements of what Muslims believe in. \n\n\n\nFriday\, Sept. 15 to Sunday\, September 17 | MCC Conference Room | $25/in-person (does not include mid-afternoon lunch) or $15.00/person to watch live online (live link will remain up unlisted indefinitely after stream ends) \n\n\n\nRegister now at mcceastbay.org/being-muslim This intensive will focus on foundational beliefs\, worship\, spiritual refinement\, lifestyle\, and more. This workshop is highly recommended for those new in their journey of Islam\, those returning to faith\, and those who seek a deeper meaning in their faith. \n\n\n\nAttendees can purchase the “Being Muslim” for $14.95 at the retreat. He has served on the board of the Deen Intensive Foundation for over fifteen years and has a particular interest in creating sustainable models of education for new and returning Muslims\, as well as educating the broader public about the beauty of Islam. “Being Muslim: A Practical Guide” is his first published work.
