He was classically trained at Masjid Nabawi. He formerly served as Imam at Waltham Forest Islamic Association (Lea Bridge Road Mosque)\, Masjid-e-Owais-e-Qarni (Belgrave Community Centre)\, and Ilford Islamic Centre.
