Learn to make simple Instant Pot meals that are both nutritious and delicious with Sr. Aalia Muzaffar from “Aalia’s Kitchen.”

These fun, interactive cooking sessions are designed for persons with basic kitchen experience.

Each session is limited to 15 spots. Best of all, at the end of each class, we get to taste all the delicious dishes we cook!

Prior attendance to the basic cooking class at the MCC is not required.

Based on interest, the MCC will offer future community cooking sessions in advanced meal preparation and additional basic cooking skills. Nothing required to attend.

MCC has a standing policy that financial need should not hold a person back from attaining spiritual or community knowledge at the community center. Request a waiver at mcceastbay.org/scholarship.

All classes are priced per person. Includes instruction and all food. Maximum number of participants is 7 per session. Pre-registration is required; walk-in registration is not available. Children not permitted during class. We ask that you commit to the series in its entirety to most benefit from this community offering.

About the Instructor:
Sr. Aalia Muzaffar has been passionate about cooking wholesome, tasty food since a child. She video blogs about her favorite recipes on her YouTube channel Aalia’s Kitchen. She loves to teach simple recipes and techniques to community members who are reticent about trying their hand in the kitchen. In this 5-week course, she will teach using an Instant Pot, a versatile multipurpose cooker that is capable of being used as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, and more.
