Event Series Event Series: Family Support for Substance Use

With a national spike in substance use since COVID, we many Muslim families in the Bay Area with a loved one struggling with addiction are suffering.

In response, the MCC & Khalil Center are starting a bi-weekly, confidential Saturday morning online support group for families with a loved one struggling with addiction.

10 a.m. to 11 a.m. PST Every other Saturday starting July 11 | Pre-screening required | Please register at mcceastbay.org/interest-list

These online meetings will be facilitated by Shaykh Rami Nsour (MCC Youth Director and Khalil Center Spiritual Counsel) and Dr. Amer Syed Raheemullah (Stanford Addiction Specialist). This is a confidential group and only the Khalil Center and MCC organizers will have access to your information so as to communicate meeting dates and times.

Our group methods will be based on the tools of SMART Recovery and CRAFT Therapy (Community Reinforcement & Family Training).
