SUMMARY:Sister's Hike to Laughlin Ranch Loop
DESCRIPTION:Join us from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on December 4 for a Saturday morning hike at the Laughlin Ranch Loop in Livermore to get to know other sisters in the community and enjoy the great outdoors.\n\nWhen: Saturday\, Dec. 4\nTime: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m.\nCarpool : No carpool available for this hike.\nLocation: Laughlin Ranch Loop\, Livermore\nDistance: Around 6.4 miles\nAll Trails: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/west-side-loop-to-brushy-peak-and-laughlin-loop-trail\nParking Fee: Free. We will do street parking as the trail gate opens at 8 a.m.\nDifficulty: Moderate with lots of ups and downs\, but no steep inclines.\n\nMisc: Please wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes\, carry enough water\, small snack\, hat\, sunglasses and hiking poles if you have.\n\nRSVP: Message Hike Leader Aparna Khan at hiking@mcceastbay.org with your name & cell phone number by Friday\, December 3 to RSVP.\n\nPlease come prepared with water\, snack and hiking/running shoes. \nOn the day of the hike\, if you have trouble finding the group\, please call or text Hike Leader Sr. Aparna Khan at (408) 480-6584. Please remember that we cannot hold all the group so we request you to please be on time. \nFor future hikes\, please subscribe to the MCC newsletter and/or add your phone number to the Women’s Hiking WhatsUp group. \nPlease wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes\, carry water bottle\, small snack\, hat\, sunglasses and hiking poles if you have. \nWest Side Loop to Brushy Peak and Laughlin Loop Trail is a 6.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Livermore\, California that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. \nThis is a great easy to moderate hike with lots of ups and downs\, but no steep inclines. The trail is mostly wide dirt paths with little to no shade. There are views of the hills and the city of Livermore.
