DESCRIPTION:For our middle school girls & boys (ages 11 to 15)\, join us to pray Asr in the congregation\, followed by a Halaqa session with Sidi Haseeb Sadat\, and then enjoy a yummy dinner for Iftar. \nThursday\, March 13 | 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. | MCC Conference Room & Banquet Hall | Girls & Boys Ages 11-15 (capped at 70) | In-person only | Register at mcceastbay.org/middle-school-iftar \nStick around and pray Isha/Taraweeh at 9 p.m. \nPre-halaqa attendance is required. Youth may not come for Iftar only. \nThe schedule is: \n5:30 p.m. – Check in\n6 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Halaqa session led by Sidi Haseeb Sadat (Conference Room)\n7 p.m. to 7:17 p.m. – Zikr\n7:17 p.m. – Maghred Athan (Prayer Hall) followed by Iftar (Banquet Hall) \n  \nAbout Ustadh Haseeb: \nHaseeb Sadat\, a highly experienced professional committed to Muslim youth development\, will co-host the camp. Haseeb has a rich educational background\, having previously served as a vice principal of Granada Islamic School and a teacher at Northstar School. Furthermore\, Haseeb brings his athletic expertise as a former Division I Wrestler at UC Davis. With his extensive experience working with Muslim youth\, Haseeb is well-equipped to create a nurturing and educational environment for camp participants. \n  \nNominal $5/youth cost to have an accurate number of attendees. MCC has a standing policy that financial need should never hold a person back from attending any event held at MCC.
