SUMMARY:Monthly Sisterhood Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join us from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on June 11 for a Saturday morning hike at the Rocky Ridge View and Elderberry Loop Trail in San Ramon to get to know other sisters in the community and enjoy the great outdoors. The team will wait for 10 to 15 minutes max before we head on the hike. There is no network in the area\, please arrive on time.\n\nWhen: Saturday\, June 11\nTime: 6:30 a.m. – 8 a.m.\nCarpool: No MCC carpool is available for this hike. Carpool encouraged with others on the hike.\nLocation: Rocky Ridge View and Elderberry Loop Trail\, San Ramon\, CA 94582\nDistance: Around 5.0 miles\nAll Trails: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/rocky-ridge-view-and-elderberry-loop-trail\nDifficulty: Easy to Moderate\n\nMisc: Please wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes\, carry enough water\, a small snack\, hat\, sunglasses\, and hiking poles if you have. No cell network in that area\, suggest carpooling and downloading the AllTrail maps.\n\nRSVP: Message Hike Leader Sr. Sohaila Ahmadyar at hiking@mcceastbay.org with your name & cell phone number by Friday\, June 10 to RSVP.\n\nPlease come prepared with water\, snack\, and hiking/running shoes. \nSr. Sohaila Ahmadyar will be leading the hikes in June and July. Generally considered a moderately challenging route\, it takes an average of 2 h 20 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding\, hiking\, and trail running\, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
