Asr is at 6:15 p.m. weekly during this two-week camp.
This new summer camp offering is provided under the supervision of Youth Director Shaykh Rami Nsour.
The goal is to demonstrate and teach you various techniques such as takedowns and grappling holds associated with this sunnah sport. You will also learn tumbling, mind-body connection, and team building activities in a fun, interactive way.
There will not be any formal teachings of Qur’an and Hadith in the curriculum, but Sidi Haseeb will informally also share stories from the Seerah and his own experiences that will hopefully provide some guidance and context for the students.
MCC has a standing policy that financial need should not hold a person from receiving knowledge offered within the four walls of the Muslim Community Center. To request a financial waiver to attend this camp, please complete the application at mcceastbay.org/scholarship
