After much consideration, the Board of Trustees at MCC East Bay has decided not to proceed with the purchase. Here is a detailed video on reasons why: https://mcceastbay.org/land-update

We continue our search for another opportunity to serve the Muslim community in the Bay Area for generations to come.

We appreciate your support. Here are your options:

To have your Karze Hasana (goodly community loan) or donation returned to you or;
To redirect your loan into the MCC Sadaqa/Operations or Zakat funds.

If you choose not to request the return of your donation or loan, your donation will remain in the MCC Building Fund for future growth opportunities, either at the Pleasanton community center or for the purchase of a second site.

*MCC has requested and received a 30-day extension in closing the Livermore property so MCC can complete its due diligence.*

In 13 years since welcoming the community at our present facility, we have experienced fantastic growth. Alhamdulliah!

MCC has just learned about an exciting growth opportunity to purchase 400 acres of land in Livermore. This land will enable us to serve the Greater Bay Area Muslim community with a multi-faceted Islamic campus for us and future generations.
