SUMMARY:Sister's Hike to Little Yosemite in Sunol
DESCRIPTION:Join us from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on February 5 for a Saturday morning hike at the Little Yosemite at the Sunol Wilderness Regional Preserve (near Pleasanton) to get to know other sisters in the community and enjoy the great outdoors. There is zero cell service here. The team will wait for 10 to 15 minutes max before we head on the hike.\n\nWhen: Saturday\, Feb. 5\nTime: 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.\nCarpool : No MCC carpool available for this hike. Carpool encouraged with others on the hike.\nLocation: Sunol Visitor Center\, 1895 Geary Rd\, Sunol\, CA 94586 \nDistance: Around 6.9 miles\nAll Trails: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/indian-joe-creek-cave-rocks-vista-grande-eagle-view-mccorkle-canyon-view?ref=result-card \nParking Fee: $5 (gate opens at 8 a.m.)\nDifficulty: Moderate\n\nMisc: Please wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes\, carry enough water\, small snack\, hat\, sunglasses and hiking poles if you have. Please remember that we cannot hold all the group so we request you to please be on time. \nFor future hikes\, please subscribe to the MCC newsletter and/or add your phone number to the Women’s Hiking WhatsUp group. \nPlease wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes\, carry water bottle\, small snack\, hat\, sunglasses and hiking poles if you have. \nIndian Joe Creek\, Cave Rocks\, Vista Grande\, Eagle View\, McCorkle\, Canyon View is a 6.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Sunol\, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. \nSunol Wilderness Regional Preserve charges a fee to enter seasonally and on weekends and holidays. Fees are per vehicle. There is also a fee for dogs.
