The Elections Commission is pleased to share the results of recently-concluded elections for the Board of Director.
This year, we implemented a new electronic voting process. Masha’Allah, the voter turnout was 30 percent. Below are the nominees who were elected by the MCC Community for a two-year term:
- Vice President Elected: Humera Nawaz
- Treasurer (Unopposed): Samer Lakhani
- Directors-at-Large Elected:
To the incoming members of the Board, we pray that Allah (SWT) will give you the passion and ability to serve MCC well in your roles. To the nominees who were not successful during this election cycle, we thank you and request your continued support and service to MCC and its community. May Allah reward you for your efforts and good intentions.
May Allah (swt) bless this masjid, keep our community united, and give the new board the ability to serve the community to the best of their abilities. Allah Humma Ameem (O Allah, hear this prayer).
