Every Wednesday 10-11am via Zoom
Open to family caregivers of an aging family member who is 60+.
Join us weekly for a peer support group that aims to connect unpaid family caregivers who are caring for an aging adult (60+). Former caregivers are welcome to join to share their experiences and provide support. Space is limited to 10 participants each week. No commitment necessary, sign-up as-needed. More spaces will be made available if there is a need. Sessions are open to all, regardless of mosque affiliation.
Sessions will be hosted by Arzina Ali who is focused on addressing the long-term needs of aging Muslims through strategic partnerships, programming and education, research, and advocacy. Arzina is currently pursuing an MS in Gerontology at the University of Southern California (USC) with a focus on minority aging populations including developing culturally competent Muslim aging services.
