We are in need of a few items for the arriving refugee families.
- Blankets (new), space heaters, and sewing machines
Please drop these items off on Tuesday, Nov. 9th, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Here is the signup link to donate these items.
- Twin size mattresses (new), full size mattresses (new), and diapers size 5 and 6
Here is the amazon wish list for the mattresses and diapers. These items should be shipped directly to MCC (5724 W. Las Positas Blvd. Suite 300, Pleasanton, CA 94588). Diapers can also be dropped off to MCC during Jumu’ah (Friday prayer) or Saturdays 9 am – 1 pm.
The food pantry is in need of select items that can be dropped off to MCC during Jumu’ah (Friday prayer) or Saturdays 9 am – 1 pm. Here is the list:
- Lentils (yellow and orange)
- Kidney Beans (dry bags and cans)
- Garbanzo Beans (dry bags and cans)
- Tea (green or black)
- Tomato Sauce
- Tomato Pasta
- Jam
- Sugar
- Oil
- Pasta
- Rice
- Afghan spices (black pepper, garham masala, cumin, turmeric, ginger)
We are in need of a few items for apartment set-ups. Here is the Amazon wish list. (We will be doing 4 apartment set-ups this weekend!)
