MCC is preparing to work with three refugee organization partners to welcome thousands of new families who will be arriving to the San Francisco Bay Area in the coming weeks from Afghanistan.

MCC will be assisting with housing and vehicles as well as resettlement duties with three partner agencies.

There are two ways to help with this latest refugee influx:

1. Community Refugee Response Team
This group of teams assigned to families will help with apartment furnishing, sign up refugees for social services benefits, help register children for school, providing ESL language support, and more.

2. Donate to the General Zakat Fund
This fund goes towards helping needy families such as refugees, single mothers, and others in the community who are in desperate need of help. Your donation will help provide the basis of everyday life to those in our community who need it most.
