This year’s Annual Women’s Qiyam welcomed over 300 sisters to the prayer hall at for a powerful night of worship, reflection, and sisterhood. Cosponsored by The Rahmah Foundation, the gathering brought together women and girls ages 14+ after Taraweeh for Qiyam ul-Layl — “standing during the night.” From 11:30 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., hearts turned toward Allah in prayer, remembrance, and sincere du’a, reviving a cherished sunnah and creating space for spiritual renewal in the stillness of the night.
We were honored to host an inspiring panel of teachers and leaders, including Ustadha Reem Shaikh, Ustadha Hosai Mojaddidi, Qariya Husna Sabir, Dr. Rania Awaad, Ustadha Raghad Al-Nouri, and Anse Sawsan Imady, among others. Their reminders touched on faith, resilience, mercy, and the beauty of returning to Allah again and again. Through heartfelt reflections and Qur’an recitation, the room was filled with quiet tears, whispered prayers, and a powerful sense of connection to our Creator.
