Overview
Muslim Community Center East Bay is seeking a part-time Marketing & Operations Coordinator. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create and oversee the execution of the organization’s marketing plan, including:
- Social media
- New congregant marketing and outreach
- Donor marketing material and outreach
- Branding strategy
- Community update announcements (emails, newsletters)
- Manage and update the MCC website.
- Establish relationships with local businesses to explore sponsorship and donation opportunities.
- Collaborate with the administration on events, A/V, and provide support to the Operations office as needed.
Qualifications:
- Two years of administrative experience
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Experience in graphic design and design software, like Canva
- Campaign management (MailChimp)
- Ability to use MS Office Programs, Google Suite, MS Outlook
- Creative and collaborative
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new situations
- Solid interpersonal skills — building rapport with others and being a team player.
- Exceptional and proven written and verbal communication skills.
Primary work hours will be at the MCC Facility, with opportunities to work from home.
