Marketing & Operations Coordinator

Overview

Muslim Community Center East Bay is seeking a part-time Marketing & Operations Coordinator. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and oversee the execution of the organization’s marketing plan, including:
    • Social media
    • New congregant marketing and outreach
    • Donor marketing material and outreach
    • Branding strategy
    • Community update announcements (emails, newsletters)
  • Manage and update the MCC website.
  • Establish relationships with local businesses to explore sponsorship and donation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the administration on events, A/V, and provide support to the Operations office as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of administrative experience
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Experience in graphic design and design software, like Canva
  • Campaign management (MailChimp)
  • Ability to use MS Office Programs, Google Suite, MS Outlook
  • Creative and collaborative
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new situations
  • Solid interpersonal skills — building rapport with others and being a team player.
  • Exceptional and proven written and verbal communication skills.

Primary work hours will be at the MCC Facility, with opportunities to work from home.
