More than seven hundred sisters and brothers attended the East Bay Annual Mawlid on Friday, Sep. 13 hosted in collaboration with San Ramon Valley Islamic Center, Islamic Center of Livermore, and Ta’leef Collective.

This year’s Mawlid featured Qur’an recitation, Dhikr, and Qasida (nasheed), led by Qari Amar Bellaha, Ust. Tarif Arabi, Sidi Mahdy Amine, and Bay Area Munshids, followed by reflections from Dr. Ali Ataie and Shaykh Faraz Khan.
