Community is Messy: Attaining Faith Through Service | Imam Mohammad Yasir Khan

January 3 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Imam Mohammad Yasir Khan (a local community leader & founder of Al-Misbaah in Sacramento) to hear the struggles that our community is currently going through, ranging from the ongoing refugee crisis to at-risk youths, addictions, suicide, and more, and how our masajid can overcome the “charity apathy” affect to address these issues.

Imam Yasir will highlight the importance of supporting local causes such as refugee resettlement, charitable aid, Islamic education, youth mentorship, and support for underserved groups. He will share personal stories of individuals whose lives have been transformed through these initiatives, creating a powerful connection to the real-world impact of community service.

Friday, Jan. 3 | 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. | MCC Prayer Hall | Join us in person or watch live at mcceastbay.org/live
