Ustadha Maryam Amirebrahimi chats virtually with MCC congregation member Hafiza Hibah Thabit about why Ustadha Maryam created Qariah, a unique Qur’an app for girls and women that features more than 60 female Quran reciters from around the world. “Qariah” means a woman Quran reciter.

7 p.m. to 8 p.m. | Friday, June 3 | Watch virtually only (not in person) at https://youtu.be/wY4l5dFmpTU

The Qariah app aims to mainstream the term ‘Qaria’ for women and to ease access to recitations of female reciters and inspire and help create a new generation of little girls who become Quran reciters.
