About this trail:
The trail meanders between chaparral shrub communities and lush meadowlands before progressively climbing to Brushy Peak. With its natural outcrops and oak trees, this scrubby peak with a circular summit offers panoramic views over Livermore and the nearby windmill-dotted highlands. Look out for local wildlife along the trail, including rattlesnakes, hares, and other bird species.
