Based on moonsighting on the evening of Sunday, March 10, the first night of Taraweeh prayers at MCC will begin at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 11.
In Ramadan 2024, Qari Amar Bellaha will recite regular 20 rakats (cycles) at MCC’s nightly indoor Taraweeh, which will begin after Isha at 9 p.m. (first week), and 9:15 p.m. (remaining three weeks). The Taraweeh prayers are also broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube.

The Tarawih prayers are held indoors, and there is no social distancing in the prayer hall. Social distancing worship spaces in Banquet Hall & Parent-Child Prayer Hall (women) & Conference Room (men).
After Asr each day, Qari Amar will also virtually recite one chapter online in his sonorous voice. The daily recitation (schedule) is broadcast from 6:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on MCC’s Facebook and YouTube.

For Jumu’ah, Iftars, and Taraweeh prayer, worshippers may park in our neighbor Hewlett Packard’s parking lot (now the Pleasanton School District). The MCC parking security team will stand watch during the prayers each night and direct motorists.
