Join us for an eight-week summer camp, divided into two parts: one focusing on inventions or creations by Muslims and the other on a related recreation or activity. The other part is a STEAM lab experiment for students to learn and explore.

Each camp day, we will cover a different inventor, either historical or modern, paired with a science experiment. There will be a snack and lunch break, as well as outdoor activities, so please ensure you pack food for your student (and water).
The camp requires a minimum of three campers.

About the Instructor:
Sister Mariam is a teacher, author, and founder of “Little Finders & Co.”. “Little Finders” is a company established in 2023, aiming to create and rewrite the Muslim narrative in the West by highlighting Muslim inventors and great minds who have shaped our world today. Sister. Mariam is a primary school teacher with a passion for uplifting young Muslim minds at the Al-Judiy Academy, a private Islamic school in Walnut Creek. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Psychology, an MBA, and is currently working on a PhD in Neuroscience. Throughout her seven years of teaching experience, she has focused on science, math, and creative writing (ELA). This will be her fourth year participating in summer camps, typically through the Dublin School District, and she is looking to expand her audience to the Muslim community.
