Our weekly Young Muslimahs Halaqa (grades PK – high school) restarts Friday, Sept. 19, and will continue every Friday until Ramadan ’26 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For sisters, Dr. Rania Awwad leads a parallel weekly women’s Halaqa.

The MCC has a standing policy that financial need should never hold a family in the East Bay from benefiting from any offering at the MCC facility. To request a financial waiver, please complete the application at mcceastbay.org/scholarship

This women’s halaqa is hosted at MCC East Bay and runs parallel to the girls & teens program in partnership with The Rahmah Foundation.
This halaqa is for girls ages 4 – 18 (PK-12th grade). Our purpose is to build strong bonds of sisterhood, the love of Allah and His Prophet, and establish salat. This halaqa meets on Friday nights at MCC East Bay from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
