Our weekly Young Muslimahs Halaqa (grades PK – high school) restarts Friday, Sept. 19, and will continue every Friday until Ramadan ’26 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For sisters, Dr. Rania Awwad leads a parallel weekly women’s Halaqa.
Space is limited for our girls’ Friday night halaqa and will fill up within hours.
The 2025-26 session runs from Friday, September 19, 2025, to May 22, 2026, with no halaqas on the following dates: Friday, November 28, December 19, December 26, January 2, February 20 through March 27, April 3, and April 10. See The Rahmah Foundation 2025-26 calendar.

First-come, first-served. No waitlist once full. For Dr. Rania’s gathering, no RSVP is needed.

This women’s halaqa is hosted at MCC East Bay and runs parallel to the girls & teens program in partnership with The Rahmah Foundation.
This halaqa is for girls ages 4 – 18 (PK-12th grade). Our purpose is to build strong bonds of sisterhood, the love of Allah and His Prophet, and establish salat. This halaqa meets Friday nights at MCC East Bay from 7 pm – 9 pm.
