On Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, our New Muslim family gathered to celebrate the season with Shukr—gratitude, reflection, and togetherness in community.

It was a powerful gathering where we honored the beautiful, beneficial parts of our cultures while grounding ourselves in the Deen. Reflecting on Ash-Shakūr, one of the 99 Names of Allah (ﷻ), reminded us that gratitude is not just a feeling, but a practice we strive to embody year-round.

A heartfelt thank you to Sidi Afraz Khan for joining us as our guest speaker and offering reflections that grounded the evening in purpose and faith.
