Job Title: Marketing & Development Coordinator
Employment Type: Part-Time
Reports to: Operations Manager
Position Effective: Immediate

Overview

Muslim Community Center East Bay is looking for a part-time Marketing & Development Coordinator. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create and oversee the execution of the organization’s marketing plan, including:
    • Social media
    • new congregant marketing and outreach
    • donor marketing material and outreach
    • branding strategy
    • community update announcements (emails, newsletters)
  • Manage and update the MCC website
  • Create relationships with local businesses for sponsorship and donation opportunities
  • Work with the administration on events, A/V, fundraising initiatives, and community events and opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Two years of marketing experience
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, FB, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Experience in graphic design and design software, like Canva
  • Campaign management
  • Ability to use MS Office Programs, Google Suite, MS Outlook
  • Creative and collaborative
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new situations
  • Solid interpersonal skills — building rapport with others and being a team player.
  • Exceptional and proven written and verbal communication skills.

Primary work hours will be at MCC Facility with opportunities to work from home.
