We are sorry to announce the passing of Brother Musa Sarary, of San Leandro. He passed away last night.
His Janazah is at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2, at Masjid Salam in Oakland. His burial follows at Five Pillars Cemetary in Livermore.
Br. Musa was a prolific community volunteer who, for years, volunteered to record lectures and workshops on video for MCC, Lighthouse Mosque, and other East Bay masjids. He pioneered MCC’s modern online presence with his YouTube channel “Know One Another.”
We ask Allah (SWT) to bless his soul with His forgiveness and mercy, accept his prayers and good deeds, and make him among the people of Paradise. May Allah (SWT) give patience to his family and friends and increase them in Iman.
Allahumma Ameen (O’ Allah, hear this prayer).
