MCC is currently running a prayer rug drive for our Muslim sisters and brothers who are incarcerated.
If you have a prayer rug at home that you’re not using and is in good condition, we’d love for you to consider dropping it off in one of the three bins we’ve set up outside the lobby (at MCC).
Please avoid prayer rugs that are entirely red or blue (gang colors not allowed in high-security prisons we serve); lighter shades are preferred. Please ensure the rug is in good condition.
The drive will continue until Friday, January 9, 2026.
