The Muslim Community Center – East Bay provides meeting space for banquets, lectures, classes, workshops, Nikkahs, Aqiqah, and discussions and is open to the public to rent, subject to MCC’s approval. Our halls are competitively priced in the Tri-Valley. For Nikkah marriage services, see here.

Our partners at the San Ramon masjid also offer their space for rental.

Our center is fully equipped with audiovisual capabilities, including microphones (wireless and handheld), wireless internet, speakers, projectors, projector stands (standing and built-in), and tables and chairs for your seating convenience.

Our rental fees range based on the day and time of the event. The rental fee includes:

  • 60″ round wood tables & burgundy vinyl banquet chairs
  • Stage (conference room)
  • Standard lighting & speaker system use
  • On-site coordination on the day of the event
  • Complimentary on-site parking (135 stalls)
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

There is no member discount. We also require a mandatory staffing fee ranging from $75.00-$200.00, depending on the size and nature of your event. Add-ons require an additional charge. Facility map

The MCC Board of Directors does not allow commercial or nonprofit private fundraising. Please see our nonprofit and business policies. Approval of a nonprofit private event at MCC is subject to the Board of Directors’ approval.

Food, Beverages, and Catering

Groups are welcome to bring their food or have food delivered.

Cancellation Policy

Upon cancellation of a reservation at least two weeks from the scheduled event, MCC will refund the rental fees collected, less a $15 administrative fee. Upon cancellation of a reservation less than two weeks before the event date, MCC keeps rental fees (up to $200 max) & refunds the remaining costs, if any. Should the renter wish to reschedule, the new event date must be reserved at least seven days before the original/current event date. If the facility is unavailable for the rescheduled date or the request to reschedule is less than seven days before the event, the renter is subject to the cancellation policy above.

One hour complimentary prior to event start. Additional set-up time that requires staff time is billed at $20/hour.
Facility fee covers three hour use of space. Space billed at $25/hour after three hours (not including clean-up time).
