With more Afghan refugees being settled in the Bay Area, the MCC Food Pantry is running low on staple ethnic items. We’re putting a call out to the community to help us urgently stock these dry food items:
- Lentils (yellow and orange)
- Kidney Beans (dry bags and cans)
- Garbanzo Beans (dry bags and cans)
- Tea (green or black)
- Tomato Sauce
- Tomato Pasta
- Jam
- Sugar
- Oil
- Pasta
- Rice
- Afghan spices (black pepper, garham masala, cumin, turmeric, ginger)
We are also asking for new space heaters, new blankets and sewing machines for refugee families.
Drop off to the MCC Food Pantry near the Banquet Hall roll-up door from:
