Lodi Muslim Mosque is raising $2.2 million to convert a 20,000-square-foot church property on 5 acres with existing classrooms into an Islamic School and a Mosque, the first in the area.
Currently, there is no Islamic schooling in Lodi; all youth are enrolled in the public school system. The women also don’t have a designated area to pray.
They have only five months to raise the funds to secure the church.
