For High School & College/University Students: Before Ramadan, join us for a night of reflection and worship, during which we will derive lessons from Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) steadfastness.

We will also have vendors, including The Burger Shop & Abu Barista Coffee!

Imam Al-Baraa
Dr. Al-Bara’a Basfar, a distinguished Imam at the West Valley Muslim Association (WVMA) brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies and an esteemed Ijazah. Further enriching his academic journey, he earned a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Educational Research and Evaluation from Ohio University. His commitment to scholarship and education continued with a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. With his deep expertise in both Islamic studies and educational research, Dr. Basfar is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and intellectual development within the community.
