About the Author
Eman Kourtam is a Muslim-American Egyptian who lives in California. She is a devoted mother of two wonderful kids: Zaineldeen and Maryam. She has a BA in Integrated Marketing communications. She is a health coach. She enjoys cooking, skiing, horseback riding, and writing stories for my kids.
Her book series “Zain and Mima’s Adventures” came to life while trying to instill important values in her kids in a fun, dynamic way. She wanted to show her children love for their Islamic faith and to grow up to be wonderful, caring human beings. She began by writing stories about real-life situations they went through as a family to impart important values and lessons they can learn along the way. Her children resonated with the stories about them and asked their mom to read them at bedtime each night. After four years, on a whim, Eman shared one of her stories on her Instagram. Commentators expressed joy and asked how they could purchase the story. The rest is history …

They found a crowd of people chanting “Free Palestine!”.“What is Palestine?” they asked. To answer, Mama took them back in time with a story that began many years ago.
