Join us on a Friday night with Sidi Zeeshan Mukhtar to discuss themes that we encounter in popular children’s Disney movies. Sidi Zeeshan is a movie buff who enjoyed watching movies with his family and discussing movie themes with them when they were younger. 

In this talk, he will share some of his observations that he gathered and will share six common themes that emerge when you cross-examine most Disney stories and view them from a Muslim perspective.

Sidi Zeeshan Mukhtar is a Bay Area economist and a volunteer financial counselor at MCC for our Zakat applicants. He has raised three boys with his wife, Hina Khan-Mukhtar.
