Alameda County Public Health Department, in collaboration with MCC East Bay, is hosting a public vaccination clinic for ages 12 and up.
*Unfortunately the pediatric vaccine for 5-11 year old’s will not be available for this clinic. Alameda County Health just informed MCC about this and they are working with school districts across the County to host pediatric mobile vaccination clinics and plan to host a mobile vaccination clinic for 5-11 year old’s at MCC in 2022. For our clinic on 11/19 we will be able to vaccinate participants 12+.*
Attendees will receive the Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson vaccine at their preference. Participants must have two doses of the Pfizer vaccine or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to achieve maximum effectiveness.

- Second Dose: Friday, November 19th, 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Who is Eligible for a COVID-19 Booster Shot
Certain people are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster shot, including those who received Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines. Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots.
For individuals who received a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, the following groups are eligible for a booster shot at 6 months or more after their initial series:
- 65 years and older
- Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
- Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
- Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings
For the nearly 15 million people who got the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots are also recommended for those who are 18 and older and who were vaccinated two or more months ago. Learn more
Additional populations may be recommended to receive a booster shot as more data become available.
