Nightly Taraweeh Prayers

Based on moonsighting on evening of Friday, April 1, the first night of Taraweeh prayers at MCC will begin at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1 or Saturday, April 2. In Ramadan 2022, Qari Amar Bellaha will recite regular 20 rakats (cycles) at MCC’s nightly indoor Taraweeh, which will begin after Isha at 9:30 p.m. (except last week in Ramadan will be at 9:45 p.m.). The Taraweeh prayers are also broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube. Qari Amar will follow this recitation schedule: https://mcceastbay.org/schedule The Tarawih prayers are held indoors with mandatory masking and no social distancing in Prayer Hall. Social distancing worship spaces in Banquet Hall & Parent-Child Prayer Hall (women) & Conference Room (men). After Asr each day, Qari Amar will also virtually recite one chapter online only in his sonorous voice.  The daily recitation (schedule) are broadcast from 6:30 p.m. to about 7:15 p.m. on MCC’s Facebook and YouTube.
