Our ongoing safety precautions such as mask wearing and social distancing will apply to all prayer areas.
We strongly recommend those who choose to pray indoors do so only if fully vaccinated as of two weeks ago. Positively no children under 13.
However, we understand vaccination is a personal health decision, and as such, there will be no such enforcement when attending services at MCC. We respect your personal decision when choosing whether to pray indoors or outdoors.
We encourage congregants to make a choice that is safest for yourself, your family, and our community when choosing to pray indoors or outdoors when at MCC.
Please remember that outdoor areas pose a much lower risk of infection when compared to indoor areas.
We will continue to offer outdoor prayer areas for the months to come, and again, strongly recommend that outdoor areas be used in lieu of indoors whenever possible.
Safety requirements for all prayer areas (indoors and outdoors):
- Capacity is limited and social distancing must be adhered to.
- Nightly registration is required and admission is on first-come-first-serve-basis until capacity is reached.
- Wear a mask at all times and bring a prayer rug.
- Make wudu at home as MCC’s bathroom, wudu areas and water fountains will remain closed.
- Absolutely no children under 13 allowed.
- Registration is required for each member of your family.
- No socializing or gathering in and around the masjid before or after prayers.
- Anyone with flu-like symptoms will be requested to leave.
We ask Allah for protection during these last ten days of Ramadan.
