Join us at MCC for a special family event featuring Ilham Malick, MS, RD, author of Sunnah Food Habits with Ahmed Bear.
Written for children ages 2–8, this beautifully illustrated book introduces young readers to the beauty of eating according to the Sunnah through the lovable character, Ahmed Bear. Children will discover the importance of gratitude, good manners, and bringing barakah into their everyday mealtimes in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
Families will enjoy an interactive storytime, followed by a Q&A with the author, an opportunity to meet her in person, and a book signing.
Saturday, August 1, 2026 | 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. | MCC Prayer Hall | Join us in person or virtually at mcceastbay.org/live
