San Ramon Valley Islamic Center, Islamic Center of Livermore, Ta’leef Collective & MCC East Bay proudly present this Rabbi’al Awwal Annual Mawlid.

Najmus Saqib (Arabic: نجم الثاقب) translates to “the piercing star,” “shining star,” or “bright star.” It refers to a star whose light pierces or cuts through the darkness of the night.

Surah At-Tariq (86:3): “The piercing star” (an-najm ath-thaqib). Here, it refers to a bright star whose intense light pierces through the darkness of the night.

Program Schedule

This is a family-friendly event. Bring the entire family. No babysitting is available during the Mawlid program. Goodie bags will be given to all kids at the end of the event.

“Hareesun Alaikum” is a phrase from the Quran, specifically verse 9:128 of Surat At-Tawbah (The Repentance). It translates to “most eager is he for your (welfare)” or “most solicitous is he for you”. The full verse, often recited in Arabic, speaks of Prophet Muhammad’s deep concern for the well-being of believers.

The Tri-Valley Annual Mawlid ’26 coincides with the weekend of 12th Rabi ul Awwal 1448.

Come soak in the sublime fragrance of our Beloved Nabi ﷺ. This is a celebration dedicated to falling in love with him ﷺ.
