Participants will learn how to use readily available AI tools to improve resumes and applications, search for the right opportunities, prepare for interviews, and make their job search more effective. The session will also offer a unique look at the employer and recruiter side of the process, including how companies are using AI to source and evaluate candidates and what job seekers should know before submitting an application.
About the workshop facilitator:
Sharmeen Hameeda is Principal Tech Recruiter at Amazon. She has been hiring in the Bay Area for the last 17 years. She previously worked for Intel, DocuSign, and Cognizant. Her areas of expertise include LinkedIn networking, LinkedIn sourcing, and resume building. She has helped a large number of undergrads who have uninteresting resumes and no LinkedIn profiles in finding their first roles.
